ANNUAL MASS FOR AUTISM
We celebrated our annual mass for Autism, on May 31 at 11am, at Our Lady of Lebanon, Harissa.
On April 2, 2019, Under the patronage of H.E. Violette Khairallah Safadi, Minister of State for Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth, AAA lit in blue Lebanon's iconic statue and Sanctuary of The Lady of Lebanon - Harissa, to commemorate the World Autism Awareness Day.
On the same occasion, Mrs Violette K. Safadi launched the "i love someone with autism" campaign where many celebrities wore AAA T-shirt to raise more awareness regarding autism.
“We cry, we scream, we hit out and break things. But still, we don’t want you to give up on us. Please, keep battling alongside us.” – Naoki Higashida Did you know that 1 in 59 children has #autism? April is a blue month ! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 On the occasion of the World Autism Month - and in the name of the - AAA- Autism Awareness Association, we are inviting you to be among our social ambassadors to support our campaign for this year. This campaign was launched on the occasion of the World Autism Day - 2nd of April, by H.E. Mrs. Violette Khairallah Safadi, the Minister of State for Economic Empowerment of Women and Youth. By posting a picture of you wearing this T-shirt (or any blue t-shirt /scarf) while doing the heart shape (photo inspiration was done with our autistic children) and inviting your followers to be part of this campaign during April, as World autism Awareness Month. Using the official campaign hashtags: #ilovesomeonewithautism #autismawarenessmonth #liub #lightitupblue and tagging Our Ngo's official page @AutismAwarenessAssociation #AAA #AutismAwarenessAssociation We would achieve our goal to involve the community in understanding Autism. Our aim is to be able to raise awareness about autism as much as possible with your involvement to our cause. We still lack a lot of awareness and support and with your help we will be able to be a step closer.
