April 2nd is "World Autism Day"
"World Autism Day" is celebrated on April 2nd by the United Nations in order to commemorate persons with autism and their families. Autism-friendly events and educational activities take place during April as "World Autism Month", to increase understanding and acceptance and further support people with autism.
Previously, on April 2nd 2016, AAA had launched the First and Largest Autism Awareness campaign in Lebanon, from the South to the North of Lebanon, to spread Autism Awareness & Acceptance.
AAA had joined the International 'Light it up Blue' for Autism and lighting in Blue:
The Citadels of Saida, Byblos & Tripoli and Our Lady of Lebanon Sanctuary, Harissa,
as well as the Safadi Cultural Center & Rashid Karame Int'l Fair in Tripoli, Chateau Rweiss & Jeita Country Club.
